Health and Wellness Programmes 

 

Support Group – A monthly support group for anyone whos life has been affected by a cancer diagnosis (past or present), can come along and offer their ideas on how we can support you in a group environment. Contact 09066-25878 for details of the next meeting.

Strides for Life Programme – This is a structured walking programme run over 16 weeks for individuals who are recovering from a cancer experience.
Participant’s fitness levels are measured at regular intervals to assess metabolic improvement. Beginning – Tuesday 21st January 12pm-1pm
(16 week course). New Members always welcome

Watercolor Classes – Dave Dibble
This class is designed to help all levels paint intuitively. You wil learn a variety of techniques to implement texture, shape, size and direction. Limited to 8 people, booking is essential.
Beginning: Wednesday 5th February 7pm – 8pm (8 week course)

Chair Yoga – Paula Sharkey
Gentle & relaxing yoga to improve flexibility and increase strength. Suitable for all levels of mobility. Beginning: Thursday 20th March 7pm – 8pm (8 week course)

MIndfulness- Naoimi Drury
A 4 week program taking a mindfulness based approach to health anxiety often experience during and after a health crisis. Beginning Feb 26th 7-8pm
